Just watched it, for Lee of course. Yes, it was fine. But. Another one!!?!! David does the “intellectual” side of history/facts and Lee the weird and hands-on half, as if WILTY and QI were really over?

Haha I know, they’re all pretty much the same. I don’t really mind though, as long as the shows are good. :) I think WILTY is starting to film in a couple of weeks, so they’re keeping busy! Lee is all over the place now, I’m very happy whee.

I know! I am definitely having a Rhod Gilbert phase. I hope he’ll go on tour soon. :)

OT: you haven’t read his book(s) either, have you? I wanted to ever since I realised how intellectually he approaches jokes (before all this).
No, I haven’t, but I would love to omg. Both of the books (or idk if it’s the same one really but with a different name?) were ridiculously expensive the last time I checked though, like I don’t even understand how that works. I guess I should try and find a used one that’ll ship to Finland. Really tempted to buy it now tbh.

You need to watch it right now!!! It’s really immature and stupid, but I love it!

spookyloop replied to your post: anonymous asked:Seeing Sarah Alex…

I’ve watched all of it but I do wonder why I bothered. It’s an okay show but it’s meant for people in their late 20s/early 30s so I’m guessing the jokes work better when you can relate.

I first watched it when I was about 16 on late night television and I loved it. Still one of my favourites :)

apocatastasis replied to your post: anonymous asked:Seeing Sarah Alex…

I didn’t relate to any of them and loved it. Great writing and pacing. Except then I disliked the fourth season (no Richard, but surely that alone can’t have been it).
Whee, thanks very much for the insight, guys! :)) I’m going to take an advantage of my last night with fast internet and get it, and I’ll watch it over Christmas to see how it is. :———-)

"I tend to live in a world where I pretend every comedian from the British isles is best friends with each other." I see I’m not the only one who does that ;)

Yay! :) I just like to think it’s not a very competetive scene, although in reality it probably can be. But still there are so many adorable comedian friendships so that warms my heart a lot. :))

It’s the cutting of the show. I’m very sensitive to such stuff and IIRC I recently thought that Jimmy looked delighted at something Alan said (which is just as erroneous as other assumptions - except that one that Stephen was so angry at Sean)

That’s a very good point! I didn’t think of that at all but yeah, that’s probably very true.

a-HA, so what’ll it be this year, Jimmy and Richard ;=
Hahaha, maybe! :D Nah I think I might just give up this year, I have absolutely no idea what to write and next to no motivation to do it (I have next to no motivation for anything at the moment), so. Meh.

and NOW do that shot up his bum where you see how his waist is tapering? in slow motion? :)
:DDDDDDDD I laughed for a hundred years and then I made this because surely there are worse ways to spend a night than sharpening frames of Jimmy Carr’s bum / waist area:
